Building from Source

Requirements

• Xcode 16.1+
• Swift Package Manager

Using pre-built middleware

anytype-heart is required for a successful build.

1. Create a personal access token here with read:packages access (more info)
2. Run make setup-middle — the script will ask for your MIDDLEWARE_TOKEN (your GitHub token)
3. To update the token later: make change-github-token

Building middleware locally

Clone anytype-heart next to this repo:

Parent Directory/
├── anytype-heart/
└── anytype-swift/

Configure the Go environment by following instructions in the anytype-heart repo, then run:

make setup-middle-local

Updating middleware

Change the version in Libraryfile or run:

make set-middle-version v=v0.37.0
